Apple Butter

15 apples, skins removed and quartered
2 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup water
1 cup melted unsalted butter

Simmer apples, brown sugar and water 20 minutes.

Process the apples in a blender until smooth.

Add the butter, pour into jars, and keep in refrigerator.
